Mission Statement

REGULAR GUYS is a fraternal/social group for gay and bisexual men who are comfortable identifying with traditional notions of masculinity, who enjoy masculine/non-gay-stream activities and who seek an alternative to the ways gay men usually socialize.

We believe that it is important to question the stereotypes that gay culture often relies upon to define itself, and that a truly diverse community provides its members more, not fewer, choices and points of view.

We do this by fostering a fraternity-like atmosphere, where camaraderie and friendships can develop in a non-sexual platonic environment. We are not a sex club or dating service, but we acknowledge that intimate, romantic relationships may develop within the membership. However, fostering such intimate, romantic relationships is not the primary focus of the group.
